I'm currently cleaning up my rooms and beginning to pack though I've got 9 more days...wait I'm finally not waiting til the last day to pack, woohoo! Anyway, I'm feeling really weird and sad doing this. Everything is about to change, but I know its for the best. I've got to work at 4 so I'm trying to do as much as I can before then. I don't know why I'm sad to leave home, I've never been the happiest here. I will miss my mom though and this house. I'll deal with those emotions next week though. This week I think I'm most disturbed with having to leave my friends and them leave me. That didnt really hit me til last night. Now I'm overwhelmed with trying to spend as much time with everyone as I can, along with working the most hours ever at work, and trying to get ready pack up and leave. Please be praying for me.

My school schedule:

General Biology MWF 9-9:50 am

It's All Coming to an End

Well its been a trend lately to not update blogs so I'm gonna break that. I've been so busy lately that I havent really had the time nor the desire to write down my weary thoughts. But anyway, I'll present my recent thoughts and current events in bullet-style presentation:

¤ I got back last week from the Poconos(in Penn.) with Steve. We had a blast. The trip consisted of random hiking-camping-boating, Steve breaking his nose, deer spotting, (failed)bear hunting, shooting off fireworks, demolition derby and the fun-ness of a small town fair, etc etc. Definitely will try to go again next year, though the 10 hour drive can be rough.
¤ A bunch of pals from Cold Stone worked their last shift on Friday. Feels very odd and unpleasant. My last day there will be this upcoming Friday, where I'll unwillingly have to give up my key.
¤ Many of friends are leaving this week for college. Megan and Ryan are going to Erskine a week before me for freshman orientation. They're gonna have a blast. Demi is leaving early friday for Bryan College in Tenn. I'll be very very sad to see her leave. Steve leaving whenever...he hasnt really informed us yet cuz....well its Steve. I also have friends leaving for UNC, State, App, etc. I'll be leaving on the 26th for Erskine.
¤ With the help of some friends, I've started to make a list of the things I have to do in greensboro before I leave. Give me some good ideas!
¤ Well I'm running out of things to say so here are the movies I've watched recently: Collateral, Napoleon Dynamite, The Village, The Bourne Supremecy, Anchorman....all but one I enjoyed. That other one I'm not really sure what to think, lol

Wow, I've got the day off so I'm gonna update. Not too much has happened this week. Been working everyday....Wednesday was very interesting @ work, lol. Had fun at Jessica's house on thursday...finished Canonball Run with Steve and Alllison and then watched Finding Nemo(yawn!). Last night, Steve, Allllison and I saw Napolean Dynamite(funny...you have to pretty weird to enjoy it though) and then Starsky and Hutch(and fashion fo' shizzle wit Doggie Fizzle) which was good too. Tonight, hopefully I get to see the Bourne Supremacy with some buds. For the rest of the week- fish fry at Steve's tomorrow, then pot-luck tomorrow night where my band is playing. I'm excited about our 2 new songs....they are still stuck in my head. Later this week I dunno if I want to go to Student Life or if I want to save my money to go to the Poconos with Steve in August. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but maybe I'll update again tomorrow(is that a stretch?)

Hey guys and gals, just got in for the night. First I worked from 4-close which was pretty cool. Katherine came in tonight and we were both suprised to see each other. I havent seen her in about 3 years. She's moved to AZ but she's moving back soon. Very cool...I think we might be hanging out later this week. It was good to catch up with her, though it was brief. After closing, I went to Jessica's house to hang out with her, Alison, Adam, and Kevin. Watched a lil Reno 911 with Alison too...thats always a good time. Anyway, I'm not opening in the morning, only working 12-5. I also dont have to work Wed...yay! So I'm in a great mood now. No one really to talk to now so I guess I'll head off to dreamworld for the night. Oh yea Demi, sssssssssssssssssssss.

It's been a pretty good week so far. Been working hard, but have actually allowed myself to rest and have some alone time which has been nice. I watched Love Actually last night. It was recommended so I had to give it a try. I "actually" liked it. Anyway, I just got back from running and its time to go to work(5-10:00)....not bad at all. I'm all giddy for some reason, lol. Hey guys, this will probably be my final post before I leave for the Bonclarken camp for a week. This is also the first post that hasnt contained a song title in the title. I'm weird arent I?

Well today has been a nice day. Can't really enjoy the whole "Father's Day" side of today, but the day's still been enjoyed. I got to go to sunday school this morning which I havent done in ages. Saw Demi's friend Ashley, though again, wasnt able to be introduced >:o Worship was also great this morning. We got to play with MVP's brother, who was the drummer.
After church, I got to eat at Qdoba with some guys. It was yummmmy. Then the rest of the day I've spent resting and preparing for the upcoming week. I hope Michael and Ryan write more to the song we started writing last week. I'll trying working on it this week too during my spare hours.
Well I've been told I talk too much on the computer, so I'm sorry. This is all I will write today.

Sorry, the Best Post Ever is posponed indefinitely. Just want to let everyone know that I'm not going to the concert tomorrow night since I promised my sister a month ago that I'd go see a concert with her instead. Well it was my fault, so I can't get mad at anyone for that.

I'm pissed off at my boss and I'm actually starting to dislike my job! That has never happened in 2 years being at Cold Stone, but the combination of opening 5 days straight every week and my new, supposedly "nice" boss being a jerk to just drove me off the end.
So I'm sorry about the venting....it just seems I never have anyone to vent to. I've definitely got too much bottled in I guess. Maybe tomorrow's post will be more uplifting, but for now...

Had a great day today. Got to sleep in, then talked to Demi for awhile about plans for next weekend. I really hope Jessica and Ashley can go Thursday too. Well anyway, I had practice at 3 which went fairly well, then Michael and I sat down and listened to music for about 30 minutes. Thats always fun. After that, I met Ryan for dinner then we played 9 holes of golf. I felt bad for beating him so badly, but he'll get me back some other time. After golf, we returned to his house and played scabble and watching rumble in the bronx with some of the crew. Very simple night.

Well I'm excited for this upcoming week. Monday I'm going to dinner with Jackie which I'm very much looking foward to, then going to Demi's house. Unfortunately, I found out Jen Dizzle's going, but I guess I can deal :P Then Wednesday I finally get paid(it'll be hefty). Then leaving on Thursday for Cornerstone.

Well I have the urge to quote the genius, Jackie Chan, from the movie viewed tonight....

Well the day is over, and I'm going to bed. I'm actually excited about tomorrow. It's my last opening shift until Tuesday, and I get to practice tomorrow. Nothing is better than playing with those guys.

Tonight couldve been better. I realized that I really don't connect with that many people anymore. Most people I know just havent been there for me as much as I would like them to be. Of course there are a few exceptions, thanks to all of them. I can't wait to move this fall. Of course it'll be sad leaving some people I've gotten close to, but it'll be a much needed change. Hopefully, I will always have these friends in my life, until I go gray and bald. I know I'm already marrying a few of them ;)

Hey, just got home not long ago. I have to open again in the morning....Day 3 of my 5 day workfest. I realized I'm working 40 hours this week which means- full-time, blah.

Anyway, tonight I got to hang with the band, and work on some new original stuff we'll be putting out soon. I'm so excited. They sound really good. We're even working on two that I wrote. Oh yea, by the way, tomorrow I buy my new baby: a 60 watt Fender Hot Rod Deville tube amp. I'm drooling this very second.

It's 2am and I'm about to head on to my wonderful bed. I had fun at Demi's grad party. The cuban food was decadent. Where's my doggie-bag I was promised? Well anyway, the new band played tonight. It was interesting....the sound was horrible. We also didnt have Joe there to drop bombs on the bass, so I had to fill in for him. People said we sounded great though....luckily they don't have a musician's ear. Can't wait to continue playing this summer with the full line-up. The blues jam was smoking(from what I heard).
